Hello!

I'm TJ!

Welcome, dog lovers!

I'm TJ, and I'm thrilled to share this journey with you. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by dog training advice, you're in the right place. My philosophy is simple: Dog Training Starts With You!

Right now, I'm deep in the exciting world of becoming a certified dog trainer. What does that mean for you? It means I'm sifting through all the information, testing out methods, and learning best practices as I go, then distilling it all down into clear, actionable advice right here on this blog. My goal is to make your life easier by offering practical guidance so you don't have to wade through a ton of content to find what works. Consider this your go-to hub for dog training and handling information!

I believe in kindness, connection, and making learning fun for both ends of the lead. We'll explore effective training methods that strengthen the bond you share, using engaging games and activities to build those essential skills and ensure you have a happy, well-adjusted pup.

You'll often find me recharging in nature, which deeply informs my belief in nurturing the natural connection between dogs and their humans. You won't find E-collars or Prong collars here, no sir (Or madam)!

On a personal note, I'm neurodivergent, and I embrace how my unique way of thinking helps me approach challenges and solutions in creative ways – often a benefit when it comes to understanding dog behaviour!

My journey has been inspired by my own rescue dog, Anayah, who is pictured nearby. Learning to train her has been so much fun and yet a challenge, so much so that it sparked a passion in me I never knew I had.

I mean, I have always loved dogs, but I didn't know I could become a dog trainer.

This is a chilled, friendly open space for all dog lovers.

And because I love photography, and I love dogs, I will be combining the two passions in order to provide a dog photography service, too. It's all a working progress, so stay tuned for updates!
